The live look at the controllers seem like this is a big gamble for them.

We joke about NASA DEI but mission control looks like a whole lotta nerdy white and asian dudes and a couple chicks

For the sake of our tax dollar we need this thing to blow up but not injure anyone. Get Boeing off the government tit. They absolutely blow as a company.

Is there anything to actually watch?

Not sure what cameras Boeing has on it... but it will be intriguing to see if it survives reentry

Not really. SpaceX has the Starlink live feeds.
So far, So good for Starliner on its return.

Holy crap these images are unreal.

This has been really cool to see. Everything worked perfectly on the return and landing. 1000 engineering wins here that still look like a huge loss for Boeing.

Those were pretty cool images. Congrats to Boeing for successfully returning their capsule without the astronauts in it.

I was really pleased with the view from the WB-57. Here are some images of the nose of that aircraft when I was installing some custom optics and the cameras used in that as part of a technology refresh we performed at NASA's Ellington Field:
And here's the Starliner training mockup for the astronauts at NASA Clear Lake in the training center for the ISS:

I will gladly eat my words. Grats to them getting it home

Is that fancy talk for "crash and burn" or rather "burn and crash"?

Great landing
Another case of paying too much attention to media. Boeing said they could get astronauts back. Media made fun of them. NASA balked. But Boeing would have gotten them back safely.
