All I know is I ran out of old spice body wash one day and used a bar of dial soap from the cabinet with a washcloth and felt way cleaner after. Haven't looked back and converted back to bar soap.

I recently converted to bar soaps, and I think they are superior. I really like Harry’s stone bar soap.

Bar soap for life. Irish spring always on hand but ill mix it up. Lever 2000 leaves even more of a clean feel than irish

Bar soap and I use those terry cloth shop rags from Lowe’s. A coarse rag.

Dawn 3x power for shampoo and face wash. Gets the oil out.

Why not both?

I have sensitive skin bar soap in every shower/bath. I have a large body wash in each as well. Then I have a few smaller, "girly" ones for when I want to smell like that.

I got this bad boy from Reddit raves, and it is awesome when you want to really feel clean after a hot day or whatever.

Someone on the cleaning subreddit had one accidentally drip down their bathtub overnight, and it removed years of yellow staining that they had been trying to get off with cleaners. I don't know if that's good or bad for the body, but it sold me.

back in my much younger years I worked with a tugboat captain that would bathe with a Lava hand soap bar then wipe himself down with rubbing alcohol after he was dry. He was a weird old bastard.

Bar soap

You do understand body wash is just soap with enough water in it to be viscous enough to pump right?

You don’t need to share the taint germs of the last person who showered anymore. It’s not 1987.

You have to have a loofa or sponge. Body wash with a wash cloth sucks because it doesn't lather. If you used body wash with a wash cloth then you should feel dirty because you are.

All i know about axe bodywash is we used it on the dog once and he proceeded to vigorously hump everything in the house.

No more axe in this house.

Also, showers are but are we overlooking the joys of a good old clawfoot tub soaking? A clawfoot tub is perfect for laying back and just relaxing, especially in the winter.

Baws suffering from swamp arse don’t want body wash.

They would be better off dipping their booty into a bucket of kerosene.
