Bodycam footage of Tyre Nichols incident to be released this evening.

I started the topic because the powers that be in Memphis think the footage is "heinous" and "Horrific" and they are afraid that there will be protests and riots, so they're releasing the bodycam footage later in the day. It appears they want to give the working people an opportunity to get safely home. They've cancelled all after school activities in and around the Memphis area.
If the footage is as bad as they say, this might cause rioting in more locations than Memphis.

There’s a distinct difference in this case which does not get the protesters engaged. I’ll let you figure out what that is..,.

The cops who beat him were all black. There may be some protests just because it was cops, but black people don't really care about blacks hurting blacks.

Honest question : Does the fact not one cop was white play a part in the level of riots?
I feel like race usual factors more than just being police.

Probably and that they’ve already been charged. There have been cases where people predicted riots and nothing happened at all.

The whole way they are trying to get out in front and charge the cops before they release the video on Friday night (intentional to let people get out of harms way and its the best time to drop bad news) tells me that this is going to be really bad.

when people are loading big screens onto carts and running out of stores with arms full of clothes, laughing and smiling the whole time, it's not about race or anything else. it's just an excuse.

The obvious course of action in this situation is to burn the entire country to the ground. After the looting is complete of course.

But it’s justified because it IS about race. This is black cops and a black man. Let’s get real here, there is no outrage about police brutality, only white police brutality. If you don’t recognize that I don’t know what to tell you.

It has for this board, who has hated race being inserted into everything so much that they’ve inserted race into everything (which makes sense somehow?).
There will be significant protests and outrage, and then everyone saying “no one will care because only whites get persecuted!!!” Will ignore it and still claim everyone is out to get them next time. Rinse and repeat.

You also don't have Trump in office. The BLM riots weren't organic. Those situations were inflamed by out-of-town agitators to make the country appear as if it was coming apart and required change.
