Isn't great to be treated like a slave? Comply or die. It's the American way.

he reached in his pocket and pulled out a black plastic nozzle
And that's when he made his final mistake.
When I get pulled over I put my wallet on the dashboard, turn my car off, turn an interior light on, & put my palms on the top steering wheel with my palms open.
If I'm walking down the street and two LEOs jump out of their squad car with their side arms drawn I'm falling as fast as I can to my knees with my hands as high as I can reach. I'm not a criminal so I wouldn't turn and run nor would I fidget about my waistline or pockets. They might be looking for a perp with my description and I don't want to afford them the opportunity to shoot the wrong guy.
It is that easy.

You seem like the type of dude with a thick beard and who likes weird types of beer

While there might be some truth to both, the beard is fairly well groomed and my beer drinking days are past. I'm more grizzly adams than dazzling urbanite

Dang brah, you've got the bone structure of Charlton Heston and the facial hair of Ryan Gosling.

I'm probably closer in age to Heston.

I honestly didn't see a whole lot of non compliance. He was shot within seconds.
My thoughts as well. That was awfully quick to end one's life.

But Guizar notes, despite the call, Centeno's never raised the nozzle toward the officers and argues they were not justified in shooting him so many times.
His on lawyer admits to him pulling the object from his pocket ...... Justified imo

was the nozzle found on the ground?

You hate the cops so much

I understand there are cops out there that are less than admirable, like every other profession. However, the harassment they receive I cannot understand. When a police officer is telling you to put your hands up, stop,or whatever it may be it is because they do not know what the person is carrying. They are protecting theirselves, as they protect the public, for $16/hour. When someone does not put their hands up, or stop, and makes a move towards their pocket, or an unidentified object, they are doing so at their own risk. I cannot comprehend how disobeying the law and paying the consequences can be victimized.

Everyone is always so eager to pass judgement on actions they were not a part of. Would you be able to make that decision that quickly? Sure, you sit there thinking "I wouldn't have shot him if he simply reached and didn't get on the ground" but would you really? These men have families. They have young children and wives who depend on them coming home when their shift is over. Are there some crappy cops? Absolutely. But a majority of them just want to go home at the end of the night and not be laying in the street bleeding waiting for an evac because shitheads like you make it so difficult to do their job that until they get shot in the line of duty, their hands are tied.

Mehhhh... In this particular case the cops were wrong. It's quite simple to see. They shot WAY too quickly. Bad shoot IMHO. Yet another fine example for the true cop haters to point to whilst they picket. That's what the police and supporters of police should be angered about in these cases, not jumping so quickly to defend their actions.

Like I said before, I dislike cops who abise power, break the law, and shoot without justification. Do you like them?

Is pulling something from your waistband not justification?
