Who in their right mind, when told to get down by the police, and the police have weapons drawn, decide "I think I'm going to put a hand in my pocket" and expect the police not to react?

As I mentioned before, I was in a similar situation but, I followed the rules. Cop said "put your hands up" without hesitation I put my hands up and I'm alive today because of it.

i had a dumb frick cop point his gun at me after pulling me over because my tags were expired.
frankly.. it's unacceptable

From that video and from the description of the call, I can definitely see why police would think he pulled a gun.

He shouldn't have, but he was and that is a tragedy. Hopefully the video has influenced everyone who has watched it to comply with Law Enforcement especially if you are running around knocking on old lady's door and shoving an object that could be mistaken for a gun in her face.

I honestly didn't see a whole lot of non compliance. He was shot within seconds.

After a call that he had stuck a gun in a woman's face he reached in his pocket and pulled out a black plastic nozzle, easily mistaken for a gun given the circumstances.
It definitely escalated quickly. I can't say that I feel real strongly one way or the other on this one.
