Huh? No one has answered if the nozzle was found on the ground. If the painted nozzle was in his hand coming out of his pants, then it is justified.

Guizar notes, despite the call, Centeno's never raised the nozzle toward the officers and argues they were not justified in shooting him so many times.

This does not indicate the nozzle was out. Not saying it was not. If it was, then justified, IMO.

Chances are high that if you do what the police tell you, you wont get a bad case of the dead.

In the United States, deadly force is governed by Tennessee v. Garner, (U.S. Supreme Court 1985) which said that "deadly force...may not be used unless necessary to prevent the escape and the officer has probable cause to believe that the suspect poses a significant threat of death or serious bodily harm to the officer
Cops can't just shoot people because the cop is scared.

If you watch the video really close you can see it fly out of his hand when he is shot. It moves diagonally from his hand to the ground going left to right across the screen.
It is not super easy to in the video but it is there.

Not going to wade through this post, and not coming back to check.
If you threaten people with a "gun" to the point where the police respond, have the police draw down on you and don't comply with instructions while reaching into your pocket and pulling out a black "gun"-looking object and subsequently get shot, I don't feel too sorry for you.
As to the comparisons regarding what would happen to you as a citizen under similar circumstances, you have the option to walk away. The police don't, it's as simple as that. The police go out there every day and put their lives on the line. So many of these situations unfortunately fall into the gray area and lives are lost on both sides. It will never be perfect but in my opinion the tie still goes to the police in the vast majority of cases.
Thanks!

The "tie" (dead citizen) nearly always goes to the police because the legal system is tilted horribly in their favor. Not to mention their brothers in blue help cover up any misdeeds.
Thankfully the social taboo of cop criticism has more or less been lifted because of social media.
I always like to refer to this as a shining example of cops that deserve criticism and more
and this
and this fat frick cop killed a dog for wagging his tail
And this as a shining example of cops that deserve praise (seriously -- they killed the man and he fricking deserved it. they gave him every chance to stay alive)
