The throat cancer robbed him of his greatest gift. His speaking. His humor and quick wit made him the legend he is today. The cancer may have taken his voice, but he still has his mind and he is still sharp and funny. frick cancer.

Certainly the best heel manager OF ALL TIME. And, because it's uncomfortable to look at him, McMahon and the WWE pretend he never existed. Once he's gone, they'll do a big thing, I'm sure, but they're too cowardly to bring him in for a tribute day where all the fans can show their appreciation while he's still alive.

I totally agree with you, and it's a damn shame. Bobby gave his life to wrestling, and deserves the royal treatment. Vince should be ashamed, but we both know he doesn't care.

I can't say he doesn't care. Folks say that Vince is sentimental about the old guys. It's just that they have image folks that probably say, "No - we don't want people to be depressed and sad." bullshite. There won't be a dry eye in the house. You can have him followed by the best heels available coming out and making fun of the crowd for being whiny little bitches.

I disagree somewhat. He was a fantastic ringside announcer, and was paramount to the hype that surrounded the NWO. The greatest antagonist on a mic that there ever was.

Bobby has pretty much been out of the spotlight for over 12 years. That's a long time passed by for new wrestling fans to have never even heard of him, much less his contribution to pro wrestling. That is very sad in my opinion.

Heenan and Monsoon together on commentary were amazing. Probably my second favorite commentator of all-time, after Ventura. His one-liners and quick wit were unmatched.
