Back in my day we got sent to “the belt” but I guess yall millenials don’t know about that with yalls saggy pants

When I was a little kid looking for trouble, my parents would whoop me with a paddle that had holes drilled into it. Drilling holes into paddles increases the speed when you swing it, and damn that hurt.

Yea, and to get him away from the crowd he’s with.

You know, if they want to be with a certain crowd, they find them. You can send them away, do whatever, but if they kid wants to run with the wrong crowd...it's not the crowd, it's the kid. They will find the "wrong crowd" wherever you send them.

Is St. Pauls not boarding anymore?

St Paul’s stopped boarding 20 years ago. The last school year they boarded students was 2002-2003.

ALSO, its not a boarding school in the typical sense, we were having my kids home every few months for a week or so because they have the most random breaks

Can you blame them? You didn’t want to be around them, why would they?

Send him to a Military Institution. Would do him some good. Just don't send him to A&M.

That was my son’s science teacher in 7th grade…he told us in orientation that he’d been at SSC for 63 years.

Watch The Program miniseries on Netflix before you decide on a facility for your son. There are so many bad ones. I was sent to a "teen help" girls school several states away at 14, and that hellish experience has had a lifelong effect on my relationship with my parents and siblings.

Overall how was the experience? Also, how do you get to engage with the opposite sex at those schools/that setup? Sounds miserable

This won’t cut it. Some boys are like dogs. You gotta submit them. You can sit him down, tell him emotionally how his behavior is troubling you and his mother. And then say this isn’t out of anger , but you’re about to get your arse whipped. And you won’t like it. Then do it.

If he is on adderall and all that, take him off as scheduled for medical safety, and keep that foot in his arse. Praise him when he does something good, as casual as it may be. And frick him up when he doesn’t. Worst case, ship him to military school.

Boarding school won’t do shite. They are more likely to tell him all the things you did wrong and turn him into a soy flake.
