A big ice cream brand up here in Ohio has had major issues with listeria in the past few years as well. Jeni's Ice Cream, fricking delicious and I don't care if it makes me sick.

Listeria concerns does not equal listeria in product. Blue Bell is being extra cautious. Nothing to bash them about.
