The old Perkins Road resident riff raff forced this issue with their loud obnoxious polo shirts and Tommy Bahama swimsuits. That cultcha is irredeemable once they get out of Country Club of Louisiana.

I wonder realistically what Blue Bayou is worth….$15 million would be my extremely uneducated guess.

Want to fix the problem out there?

Make tickets $200/day unless you produce an Ascension Parish school ID or a private school id, then it’s $50.

Parents don’t make their teenagers work these days. They just buy them their car and are more worried about taking as many beach vacations as possible so they brag and post on social media.

Used pricing, just that Galaxy roller coaster is worth a ton. Amusement rides are far from cheap

Galaxy Coaster. ID Code ... Price: $699,000 USD

36' Chance Carousel Price: $379,000 USD

Sizzler - Price $249,000

That huge green & white coaster is probably a few million.

I have no clue what the water park rides are worth.

I can’t imagine how fricked up those slides gets sitting there rotting when they’re not in use. I bet Blue Bayou has never recovered from letting everything rot during Covid. You know they aren’t doing proper maintenance as a cost cutting measure.

This. I've lived off Old Perkins for the last fifteen years. The total gridlock at the Highland/Old Perkins intersection during rush hour in the summer caused by Blue Bayou traffic makes me want to smash a bottle over my own head.
Howdy neighbor. It's a wonder I did not get dragged out of my car and tased by the off duty State Troopers as I passed through there on a daily basis. I laid on my horn every time I had to stop for their nonsense - stepping out into traffic to let dumbasses turn left out of the park with no regard for the traffic signal cycling behind them. That one older black trooper hated my guts, frick him and frick Blue Bayou/Dixie Landin' and anyone who has ever gone there.

Blue Bayou is a surprisingly good water park especially for randomly being in Baton rouge. It's better than most water parks I've been to throughout my life, exceptions being obvious ones like Schlitterbahn, Disney world water parks, and some other big ones. Shame it stopped being maintained
