Blown away by how trashy people are - my Seaworld experience

I rarely venture out of my hill country oasis of normalcy.

Took the family to seaworld today and my god, the people.

Fat, dressed like bums, prison tats everywhere, 8 year olds in strollers, vaping, etc. what a shitshow.

But as I stood there it dawned on me. They’re not the weird ones.

I’m the outlier. It was 5-1 trash to normal family.

And it also dawned on me that my normal - average middle class, dressed decent, not covered in tats or 100 lbs overweight, wearing weed shirts or other stupid shite, was not “normal.”

We stood out like sore thumbs.

Depressing

It was eye opening. I really don’t encounter those people ever.

Even low level employees are respectable.

I’ve never been to fiesta. People say it can be fun but kind of trashy. I was like, I’m from NOLA, I can deal with trashy.

I’m not sure anymore. It wasn’t scary at least like NOLA, just gross

That’s the part that made me most sad.

Even among the Non trashy families, there were very few 30 and under people not covered in shitty tats.

That’s just normal now and not weird.

The new American culture. As trashy as you want to be, and possibly get rewarded for it.

What is it with theme and water parks? You must have a tattoo and be overweight.

Let us see a pic of your family and we’ll be the judge if you’re “normal”.

I guarantee your family is just as trashy as the people you interacted with today

People wonder why there’s an obesity epidemic and then you see 10 year olds in strollers.

Get the up and walk you lazy asses. I have two kids under 5 and we rarely bring strollers. If the kid can walk they can walk and if they get too tired I’ll carry them for a bit.

Probably in minority here but strollers for older kids is a pet peeve of mine.
