Will there be airlines that can avoid bankruptcy?

If it gives just one morbidly obese hospice patient another 20 minutes it is worth it.

frick the hundreds of thousands of people those planes are losing money for.

The airlines might not make it, but the planes, airports, pilots, flight attendants, etc. etc. will be there for someone to form a new airline.

Should let the airlines go bankrupt. There are plenty of planes, plenty of demand for flying. Will only get better, more innovative service.

For the USA, the bullet train has passed us by. It is time.

I can’t remember the exact numbers, but I heard in a news report yesterday that flights at Birmingham International are down like 95%.

I'm perfectly fine if it's the market that makes this happen.

I'm not fine when it happens by government fiat.

Not with the current oversight structure of the FAA, DOT, and DHS.

Exactly.

The airlines were not going bankrupt before the government forced them too.

Small businesses were not going out of business until the government forced them too.

That is about as far from free market as possible and they should be paid back. It is our fault we voted for people willing to frick us all over.

This whole thing is so ridiculous. Kind of makes me wonder why I'm even working so damned hard. Seems like no one else is anymore.

I honestly shouldnt have commented because im really kind of clueless about all this. I do think there is plenty of room for improvement of airlines in terms of service and efficiency.

I am clueless and shouldn’t comment.

Here’s my opinion on the subject.

They’re all handcuffed for the most part.
