I only have friends who believe like I do. i have no time for people with their own bias. when everyone I associate with have the same bias, confrontation is eliminated. I respect other people's feelings toward their own issues, but I won't waste my time with them because you can't talk a pig into believing like a horse, nor vise versa. So why waste the effort?

Don't have social media. Problem solved.
You're Welcome.

I blocked one after/during the gay marriage debate. Not because I disagree with gay marriage but his assumption that because of the way I vote in the polls that I'm a homophobe.
It wasn't just one post about the issue. But over 40 in 3-4 days.

I tend to be a contrarian. I would probably be classified as a moderate but I tend to take the opposite side whenever someone on my feed posts something blatantly partisan. I will probably be blocked by everyone soon.

also know these race topics peak your interest because they do for me as well but i'm at least a little more centered when it comes to race postings than you. I have never seen you post a topic regarding condemning someone from the african american community not even one damn time. It's sad dude.
Off topic but
1) the rest of the posters do enough of that, why should I pile on?
2) I'm waiting for some in-depth and concrete analysis on the cultural pathologies within your own community and efforts to curb those on a non-individual bases. Blatant denials and deflections is what most of this board does

So if a black man rapes and kills a white woman, you choose to be silent because others will condemn bim, so you don't need to say it's a horrid act...unless the races are reversed and the man is white and the woman is black, THEN you have something to say about it?

Now if some ignant arse neck from Denham Springs makes the news for something he'll get bashed by all of us here.

No other group protects their own like the Left, regardless of the issue and who is right or wrong.

It definitely puts the Right at a disadvantage since they are willing to form up a circular firing squad against their own any time accusations are made against one of them. Sad.

With the whole string of socially charged events, I've found a lot of people engaging in defriending /blocking people they had none for years, especially because of their opposition on beliefs. It seems to be creating a divided between the well informed, the ignorant, the willfully ingnorant, and straight up hateful folks. How is the OT holding up with it? Are yall engaging in this behavior? IMO, it's pretty childish, And I find it amusing to see how (ill) informed and how (un)educated some people you have connections with are. It sheds a new light into the mental processes of some people. With that said, blocking people is childish to me, but I can see why some folks engage in it, especially if it's negative energy to them.
I was never one to consider everyone on a follow or friends list an "actual friend" or real live companion, but it has been interesting to see some folks true colors so to speak.
I don't block or unfriend anybody, but I quit following them so I don't see there posts. I also do that when someone uses facebook to advertise or just keeps asking stupid questions or posts baby pics.
