Where can you get the fitting and hose to go to a regular propane tank instead of the small bottles And do you need a regulator in between the two?
Goodwood Hardware should be able to hook you up.

HEB sells their own version but it has the grease dump drain at the front of the grill for easy disposal Genius
That’s really my only gripe about the Blackstone. It’s angled for the grease to run towards you so it would be smarter to have the grease tray in the front instead of the back.

i have the 36". Use it more when i'm cooking a lot of stuff. cann cook a complete breakfast at the same time, bacon, eggs, pancakes, sausage. I even make toast in the bacon grease.
used it for fried rice, phillys, burgers, fajitas and even steaks.
not sure about the upkeep complaints. as long as you clean it and oil it after each use, it's pretty easy.
my one complaint has always been the grease cup. Way too small for the cooking space. although i think the offer a slightly larger version.
i built one out of a bucket.

I spent a small fortune on an new outdoor kitchen. Since my wife bought me a blackstone, I barely turn on the grill anymore.

Get the lid. I greatly regret not getting mine

Yeah, it wasn't available when I bought mine. I am actually thinking about getting rid of mine and buying one with the lid.

Don't they sell the lid separately?
not exactly the same but, they do sell them.

I wish I had a bucket like that.
15lbs of ground beef has me swapping out the grease pans a couple times during the cook.
I love my blackstone though. Didn’t use it as much in summer, but during the fall, winter, and spring I use it pretty frequently.

I came across the Cabela's brand on Facebook for sale for $70 about 6 months ago. I jumped on it. I've enjoyed so far. I've done breakfast, smash burgers, steak, and cheese steak on it so far.

Yes, I love it. I admit, it doesnt get as much use as my Traeger but I still use it all the time. Made a bunch of smashburgers this weekend for our fantasy draft. I recommend getting the largest one you have, as surface area can easily get overwhelmed, especially when doing something like smash burgers. I can only fit about 8 patties at once on the biggest model because they get smashed so thin and wide.

one other thing i found out by accident. The legs are foldable and the only thing that keeps them upright is that bottom tray. The tray is attached with 2 thumb screws that tend to rattle loose if you move the thing around a lot.
one of the thumb screws fell out and the thing did a nose dive into the ground. Luckily it was empty at the time and not full of scalding grease

well they do sell the aluminum inserts for the drip cup so, that's an option.

I have a 28” expert grill Walmart knock off with hinged lid and we use it all the time. I cut the legs down short and built the outside kitchen to accept it. Have made many very good meals off it.
Posted on 8/29/23 at 1:16 pm to sidewalkside
I have the 28, I love it. I have the plastic cover to put over it after use, so no rust. But if you didn't cover it and didn't keep up with it on a regular basis, there are a ton of videos on how to get the rust off, or re-season it. Before every use, just put some oil on it, after each use, clean it off real good, a bit more oil, cover on, done. I love the thing, I think it is well worth it.

I have the 2 burner and it’s awesome. I cook everything on there. As a matter of fact, I just had steak. Burgers, bacon, eggs, fried rice, chicken…only thing I can’t do is smoke some ribs.

Jesus Christ. What are you cooking to require that big of a grease trap?
