Cops have zero responsibility to protect you or keep you safe. Their jobs is to "enforce" the "law" and revenue generation. Read the Supreme Court's opinion. Cops show up after the crime is committed and go from there 99% of the time. A little too far? Violating people's rights is not a little too far. I guess living in a police state your willing to let the cops determine for you what's excessive. If they're pussies because they can't beat the shite out of every single person who questions their actions. Good. If only we held cops to the same standard as Doctors, engineers, etc, instead of only requiring a HS diploma. The system protects cops because YOU enable it, not because no one would do the job if they were held to the same standard as citizens. There's police forces around the world that don't resort to violence or harming citizens but are still able to do their jobs.

Governments will never give up their monopolies on government services nor ever allow a true "free" market. The government will always regulate and choose winners or losers based on who can buy it off.

It's not frivolous when there is no other recourse for this child. When will cops stop violating people's rights and costing citizens millions? They need to look in the mirror along with the citizens who condone this garbage. The kid did nothing wrong.
