Let's break this down.
Her claim:
To be racist you have to be prejudice and you have to wield institutional power.
For the sake of argument, let's take that as true.
Her hypothesis:
Black people do not fit that definition
The reality of the city she lives in:
Black mayor
Black city council
Black school board
Black Sheriff
Black police superintendent
Majority Black judges
60% majority black population
Her hypothesis fails, and by her definition whites in New Orleans can't be racist.
I love people like her. They're so easy to frick with because they're so blindly ignorant and so amazingly smug about their ignorance. You counter with facts and they cry and accuse you of something outlandish and call you a racist.

I'm not a sociologist but it seems to me, the vast majority of "successful" black folks, took responsibility for themselves and their own children by utilizing every tool,program and their own will, to overcome significant odds !
The problem seems to be, those same "successful" blacks are so chastised for their will to succeed, that they are not interested in "elevating" their own kind, out of the morass the dims and they themselves have created....they don't want anything to do with the "culcha" so leadership is virtually non-existent and that void is filled with race-baiters,morons and agitators.
This is the perfect scenario for the current state of affairs for the bulk of the black "community" !

Why don't black folks start recoiling at this?
Black folks can do anything that white folks can, including "be racist" - and even if you buy the bullshite they're selling - "you have to have power to be racist" (which is utter bullshite), black folks aren't in power in Haiti? Ghana? South Africa? Liberia?
And some of those places have a racist record and other places don't. So, GTFO of here with that.
While we're on the subject:

Make no mistake about it. This "blacks can't be racist" mantra is nothing more than giving blacks yet another blank check. It's just like everything else they make excuses for. We let them do whatever they want, tell them they're special and oppressed, and they're mysteriously in the same position they've been in for 40 years
