i think this is an awesome tradition. I dont really think its embarrasing to have to kiss them goodbye though. I did with my parents no issue, as have my kids. zero fricks given about what other kids think

for sure...i think it also teaches kids...its ok to be appreciative and show your parents that you love them and a thank you for spending the money to keep me away from the bottom 20% of society during my high school years.
