Family is going up to Birmingham for a concert for my daughter. My son and I need something to do. Checked the barrons schedule but they’re done for the year. Anything else fun for a 10 year old boy? He loves anything sports or hunting/fishing. Tia

Go check out the super 6A public school campuses. They are pretty impressive.

It may sound miserable but if you’ve ever been to a non air conditioned strip club you will never forget it. Those girls have no rules.

Depends on where you are coming from. You can take him to Bass Pro shop and hang out for an hour and then go to the Barber museum next door. If he likes cars and bikes - it is fantastic.

I chose these because of the A/C.

What I was going to suggest as well but Barber closes at six and Bass Pro Shop at 7. Assuming you are going to JoJo at the civic center, I would go to top golf. It’s right by there.

You could also watch the Sunday night game at paramount. It’s a bar with good food and a game room for the kiddo. Also close to concert.

Hoover Tactical has a nice indoor firing range. Not sure how late they stay open on Sunday’s but they keep later hours I know the rest of the week.

Go to Oak Mountain. Either ride around or go walk some of the trials.

Dave & Busters in Hoover or Top Golf by the BJCC.

Keep in mind getting around downtown as many streets going N/S are closed around the BJCC for the interstate project.

It's a pain in the butt but Carraway is about the only crossing across 9th ave unless one of the other lower streets isn't closed.

Leave. Probably the best thing to do in Birmingham.
