“Star Wars” actor Billy Dee Williams opened up about his gender fluidity during a recent interview.
Speaking to Esquire ahead of the release of “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker,” Williams revealed he uses male and female pronouns.
“I say ‘himself’ and ‘herself,’ because I also see myself as feminine as well as masculine,” he said. "I’m a very soft person. I’m not afraid to show that side of myself.”
“I never tried to be anything except myself,” Williams said. “I think of myself as a relatively colorful character who doesn’t take himself or herself too seriously.”
