You should specify net or gross in the OP.

$80k... usually invoices are smaller than that, but the client missed a few payments.

What's more fun is give the IRS their yearly cut out of those checks.

11K

Included a week's gratuity and commission on a party I booked worth $100K. I received commissions weekly as part of my check.

Single day payday without commission - $1,400 (tips - cash) twice.

ETA:

Assuming this does not include bonus checks... Just day rate or weekly/every-other-week type stuff.

4501 one week check working a nuclear power plant outage. Too bad plant wasn't closer to my house as they call back for emergency outage 2 weeks after completion. I already had a permanent job 10 minutes from home by the time they called.

$10k for me

I've had a fully endorsed check for over $600k though. Was a runner for a law firm in college and had to bring a settlement check to get endorsed. Lawyer, then to his house for his wife to sign, then to bank. I was only 19, and nervous as shite with that responsibility.

Let's see proof!!

Mine on the other hand was14,234. That was for one week getting hazards pay plus premium during BP leak. I also got that for 6 weeks straight. After that my offshore life was done. Had enough at that point.

Anyone ever gotten a call from the bank saying their paycheck bounced?

I did for like a $2k check from an IT company I was working for about a decade ago. Was not with them for much longer.

Only thing that sticks was a $31,000 bonus. Was a good year.

Plenty more at other times, just wasn't for a job necessarily.

Yup. Taxes ate me up. Only was paid 13.50/100 as a labor hand. 17.00/120 as a straw boss
