BLM and Antifa were actually encouraged.

Couldn’t fly domestically in China. International flights were okay. An act of war IMO.

Fauci being on TV 24/7 made me skeptical. Like a lot of people, I hung on to his every word early on but then after a few weeks of him being on every damn show around the clock, I started to wonder why he didn’t have anything better to do. Surely the head of the NIH had some other responsibilities in the middle of a pandemic other than being a talk constant show guest.
Second biggest red flag was half the city was going to Lowe’s every day during the early shutdowns, yet it wasn’t like Lowe’s employees were dropping like flies or calling out sick in droves.
Chris Cuomo conveniently getting it, doing his show from his basement, and then getting busted in the Hamptons cemented that it was all theater.
The BLM protests were the final straw.

When they said you needed to get the shot even if you had natural immunity from having the virus.
Also some of you folks really missed the point like the guy saying it was OK to shop but not get seeds or OK to protest but not go to work.

Day one for me but I work in blood diagnostics so I had a different view.

Honestly, I opposed lockdowns from day 1. I even opposed lockdowns when the (relatively speaking) most lenient governors like De Santis and Kemp still had their states under lockdown. I know it probably sounds like BS, but I’m telling the truth. There were a few weeks there where I seemed to be literally the only person in America who hated lockdowns.

the beginning we were told that masks didn’t work. Maybe the more expensive ones a little, but you couldn’t really rely on them.
Then, suddenly, everyone must mask up everywhere or we all die.
This one for me....
There aren't thay many masks availible...please don't buy them up...they aren't even reslly gonna work anyway
Plenty masks for sale..... EVERYONE NEEDS A MASK AT ALL TIMES NON-NEGOTIABLE IF YOU DONT WEAR A MASK...2 MASKS... KN95 MASLS YOUR KILLING EVERYONE YOU KNOW

Anyway, for me, there wasn’t a red flag that caused me to oppose lockdowns, since I hated lockdowns from day one.
The real question isn’t what caused me to oppose lockdowns. I think the real question is what the hell caused everybody else to support lockdowns.

I was just adding context to show it wasn’t like Biden just blurted it out on his own.
Sorry . . I misunderstood your context. I say "out of the blue" because at that time of the campaign I thought it was an odd topic to bring into the campaign discussion which is why I still remember it 5 years later.
A similar quote that always stuck with me was Hillary's advice to Joe about not conceding on campaign night no matter how dire the results look. Once again proved to be foreshadowing.

That we were letting in untested illegals when, if this was actually a real pandemic, they would’ve been shot on site at the border.

When Fauci talked about masks being useless, then later acted like they were mandatory. He wasn’t making decisions based on science. Social distancing wasn’t supported by science and neither were the lockdowns.

Shutting down small businesses but keeping big box stores open.
Then incentivizing cheeseburgers during a health pandemic to get a vaccine.

Natural immunity doesn’t matter.
I caught covid in early January of 2020 then took the antibody test 8 months later in August of 2020 to confirm I actually had the virus. I never took a vaccine because of my experiences with the flu shot always failing to provide me protection. The week after I tested for antibodies, I began donating my convalescent plasma at Grifols to help support the manufacturing of covid therapeutics. I was tested every week before donating to measure the strength of my covid antibodies. I was able to donate strong antibodies until March of 2021, which was 14 months after I had contracted covid. The narrative pushed by the CDC, NIH, echoed by Doctors, and reported by the the MSM was that our covid antibodies were only helpful for 3 to 6 months max post infection. Personal confirmation that inaccurate information was used to frighten post infected people into taking a useless and dangerous drug instead of relying on their natural immunity.

Well, 4 months before the pandemic, the economy was doing so well I told my wife there was no possible way Trump would lose unless some sort of pandemic happened.
And look what happened. Plandemic right on cue.

When they closed our neighborhood playground (with pathetic caution tape) and locked the tennis courts.
You can’t let kids play outside?
You can’t let 2 people be active and play a sport like Tennis that you literally stand as far apart as possible?
The caution tape was ripped down (may or may not have been me…plead the 5th) and within a week the playground was filled with kids of all ages having fun again.
Unfortunately the tennis courts got overgrown with weeds for about 6 months before the city finally unlocked them.

Earliest deaths were patients in nursing homes then New York Governor says that nursing homes have to admit Covid patients.

Pretty sure there was a cash lottery drawing in Louisiana for those who got the shot. That's what made me realize this whole thing was about control of the weak minded sheeple.
In the midst of all this, I had a follow up appointment at the hospital with my Dr. after a surgery. Before getting on the elevator there was a table set up with two folks taking information before letting you enter the elevator. They asked my reason for being there and if I had a mask. I told them I had a scheduled follow up appointment with my surgeon and no I did not have a mask. I was told I'd have to wear a mask before I could go any further and was then offered one. Told them no thanks, and to tell my Dr. I wouldn't be making my appointment and headed back to the house. I have never heard back from the surgeon.

Another one, when those silly fricks were telling us that curtains or a shirt would work as a mask
Or when cops arrested a guy surfing by himself.
Or when the government decided to tape off playgrounds.
