This is common with pharmaceuticals and other mixes with tiny volumes of critical ingredients in a filler... obviously depending on ingredients and potency of them, sometimes the initial/tail end portions of a batch of product are automatically discarded for having too much or not enough active ingredient. They sell the middle range, but that varies from the high end reject concentration to the low end concentration.
On cheaper, less crucial stuff like multivitamins you may have way more than the label amounts so that they are sure they have at least that much on the low end.

Did not let my kids but my oldest son went and did it on his own because his fiancé talked him into it. I was livid but nothing I could do. I told him do not get the second shot and no boosters. Don’t know if he followed that counsel or not.

Was this the original experiments/clinicals/phases done with different amounts?
Seems like they would have had multiple groups getting varying amounts of the active ingredient to find out what was the optimal amount to trigger a response.
Been a year or so, but pretty sure the monoclonal antibodies were given out in different doses before full approval was given.
Spells it out in the original study paperwork

I figured there was probably a reason they didn’t bother to provide a LINK to the actual document in their article.
Ten seconds of research tells me:
1. The range of dosages this article lists includes not only multiple vaccines, but multiple vaccine manufacturers. For example, Pfizer has vaccines listed with 30 mcg, 10 mcg, and 3 mcg dosages. The 100 mcg dose listed in the article is from Moderna.
2. Those aren’t “batch numbers.” They are vaccine codes.. for different vaccines. 91300 and 91305 (Pfizer, 30 mcg) are the normal vaccine for people age 12 and up. There are two codes because the buffer (not the active component) was changed. 91307 (Pfizer, 10 mcg) is intended for children age 5-11 years old. 91308 (Pfizer, 3 mcg) is intended for children age 6 months to 5 years old.
I don’t see how anybody who spent more than 10 seconds looking into this could possibly interpret it to mean different dosages for different batches of the same vaccine.
There may have been different dosages administered during the initial clinical trials, which would also make sense, but that’s not what the document in question is referring to.
