12z coming out and it's almost at the doomsday images. Looks like mixed precip starts to show up around Austin 18z on Dec 22 then spreads over most of central texas by midnight Dec 22/23.

Looks like central Texas might get double digits of snow on the 23rd and 24th

better move my plans of traveling from Alexandria to NOLA up a day if that's a case

have to work a basketball game in Alex on the 21st... was maybe going to just rest and then travel on the 23rd but I guess I won't be able to do that if that's the forecast

I can hate the south sometimes

I want to be cold on Christmas... it just seems right

being in shorts and a tshirt on Christmas day just doesn't feel natural to me

was it Christmas or Thanksgiving a few years ago where there were tornado warnings in NOLA?

DFW misses the shite again

As long as there is no December EF-4 I'm okay with that.

Just you wait, watch all these runs predict this storm for hill country and austin then the day before it hits, GFS moves it up to hit DFW. You would love an ice storm for christmas right?

ETA: I mean the 06z run had about a foot of snow over DFW

Christmas. I remember they were expecting severe storms so we moved our family gathering to Christmas eve

I mean I guess it would be cool to see a foot of sneaux in the metroplex because my arse isnt going anywhere and Sonic is 2 blocks away. So I can still check knuckles

I was like 95% sure it was Christmas but that little creep of doubt in my head made me question it

Now it looks like the Euro is flip flopping to a colder solution. Not showing winter precip in south TX or LA but it's an improvement from 76 degrees on Christmas.

I hope so. I don't care about snow, I just don't want it to be hot

I'm ordering Chains for my tires so that my car will be ready for the ice on the I-10 high rise in Chilly Gentilly as I head to Florida for some sun.
