Slidell NWS is blending the two, pratically splitting the difference. The difference between the GFS and Euro is vast. To the point one of them will prove very wrong.
Let's hope it's the GFS.
ETA: read the Denver/Boulder discussion and they've got a solid 45 degree range for high temperature in Peublo, Co on Sunday. So the front range temps/forecasts will indicate a lot for down here. Euro has the cold farther east, and towns on the front range into the Colorado plains stay mild if that palys out. If the GFS is right, it's a bitter NYE for those places and by extention will be bitter down here.

Its NOT gonna get down as low as like 15 degrees... Won't happen From what I am seeing is just not sure about some sleet around Tuesday... This is for the BR area... Now up in North LA it could be like 7-8 degrees colder...
