After the past 2 years, I'll take this over wearing fricking shorts.

In today's FWIW department, this was posted by Jay Grimes from WAFB this morning.

For the "Show Me" folks ... the GFS's "Sneaux Dance" ... a look at one model's changes for the Christmas morning forecast between three consecutive runs. The trend here is for lower and lower chances for snow on Christmas .. down to 'zero' as of Monday evening. But remember .. that is just three runs of one model ... and with 7 days to go, the GFS is likely to continue bouncing around

for you hunters especially the waterfowlers.. this is indeed a replica of 89 very warm temps followed by this and the epic migration afterwards.

I'm loving Grimes more and more. He's honest.

I don't give a shite about Christmas, but I want a warm NYE. Having a crawfish boil.

You have all spring for crawfish boils. If your anti-cold sentiment convinces the universe to give us a muggy NYE I'm going to hunt you down.

What do you mean by warm? I would love to eat hot crawfish on a cool day. Now 30 degrees would be less than ideal.

Anything less than the 40s and the party is switching to regular food I've done the whole cold crawfish boil and it is miserable. Nobody's hands can peel because they're so cold. And you can't really enjoy crawfish in a long sleeve without needing to wash everyone's clothes after.

Just cover up your dining table well and serve them on trays. It's not that hard.
