Yeah, they probably missed low but we always miss on the low side down here. We'll see how much actually gets on the ground before chiding the forecasters (except the WBRZ crew) too much.

Good thing the transition was quick..
3 hours of sleet at this temp would have been a total mess.

Shingleton saying "if you remember, last Friday we mentioned the possibility of winter weather in Baton Rouge." That fricker. Just an hour ago he was saying we wouldn't get any snow.

Yes but even the models TD went by (compared to the PhD weather guy lol) didn’t show what we will end up gettting. Everything is off it seems

Snow is hard to get right.

The models did a pretty good job all things considered.

Don't jump to conclusions about big totals. An inch would really be over-doing what this system was expected to do an just 24 hours ago. Maybe that's what you meant but some may take it to mean another event like last month.

Well the difference is the models last month us smart folks went by, were right on. The Canadian one maybe? Anyways none have really seemed on it radar wise

Hasn't officially been announced yet, but we were closed today, and I have to assume we will be closed tomorrow.

Edit: Actually the notification just came - closed tomorrow.
