Not only until it was snowing. They held out until people started sending them pictures of their entire neighborhood hood covered in snow.

Not all that different than the GFS and keeps the line mostly together through SELa. 0z NAM is on the same idea with snow totals and the line basically holding together.

Folks in E Texas are saying the HRRR is doing the best right now as precip appears to be filling in.

Yup Euro is wetter. HRRR is usually accurate. Once you get down to south Louisiana though all bets are off with the precip typing on any model.

It's happening.
Shreveport just started a steady rain at 37 degrees per my home temp gauge. Ice line just crossed the border into LA near Ida, LA. Wind went from 3 S to 15-20 mph N. Rapidly cooling.
