I have no idea why anyone wants to live there. Unless you live out in hill country. Which isn’t really San Antonio and then you have to drive into the city on a road system that is not set up for a large city.

Fort Worth typically gets lumped in with Dallas, but they are 2 very different cities. I lived in the Metroplex for 4 years, I was slightly closer to Fort Worth and I prefer it over Dallas.

I was amazed at the lack of traffic in San Antonio a couple weeks ago. I drove through at 8 am on a Monday and never tapped the brakes

I did not see Richmond, VA mentioned in the first 3 pages
only 200+K but metro 1.2 million
It is great,lived there a year, and 2-3 hours away from a lot of great places.
