If we are doing metro areas then Raleigh with over 2MM might fall into that.

Not sure if talk of Duke/UNC is considered "hearing" about the city.

I'm in Albuquerque, it's around 600,000. Besides "Breaking Bad", this place is on a fricking island and you hear very little.

I drove through there a couple years back en route to California. I actually enjoyed ABQ quite a bit. Very unique architecture for sure

To be fair, do you ever see anything from Kentucky in the news? Besides college basketball

No more Bourbon for you!

And for the question about Frankfort, it’s the capital because Louisville had a hissy fit back in the 18th century when Lexington, the natural choice, was nominated. The “compromise” was the mistake on the Kentucky River.

It took me a year to adjust. There's a huge homeless population and a shite ton of theft. But yes, the architecture is great. When you only get 10-15 inches of precipitation, elevated roofs are a waste.

Probably the weakest capital building ever, although it is unique. If I had my rathers, I wouldn't be in Albuquerque or Santa Fe. New Mexico is beautiful overall, just controlled by two cities trying to appease illegal immigrants.

The wife wants to move to Alaska, just don't know how my son's grandparents will feel about it. I'd love to be there for sure though.

She's a biologist.

And wants to live off the grid. Strange, I know. Promise, she's attractive, at least as attractive as a biologist can be.
