I never knew that. Very interesting. I had no idea that he was from New Orleans.

The area around Ehret is actually pretty decent. Marrero past Ames Blvd and Kennedy Heights in Waggaman might be on par with the worst parts of New Orleans in terms of shittiness/crime though.

Back when I played football and baseball for Avondale in the early ‘80s Kennedy Heights had K.A.W.K painted in the end zone. They said it stood for “Kill All White Kids”. I know it was really something to do with Kennedy Athletics or something like that. It’s funny to look back on though. They used chant that shite when we’d pull up to play. Good times! Lol

Darrel Williams too.

Also Arkansas LB De'Jon Harris, Colorado WR Caron Baham, Arizona S Jarrius Wallace, ULM's Kerry Starks, and who were all in their 2016 class with Divinity.

In 2017 they graduated Tennessee CB Terrell Bailey, Kansas WR Travis Jordan, Colorado State CB Darius Campbell, and Arkie State DT Dwayne Fisher.

In 2018 they have LaTech S Isaiah Windmon and Marshall WR Lorinzo Penn.

In 2019 LSU LB Donte Starks, TCU DE Earl Barquet, UNLV QB Travis Mumphrey, and UNLV LB Jacoby Windmon.

The 2020 class has DL Patrick Jenkins with 16 offers including six from SEC teams, and CB Brandon James who has five offers from smaller colleges.

They have S Kaine Williams in the 2021 class. He has six SEC offers, including LSU. Should be a Tiger.

They may be putting out more D-1 players than anyone else in the state.

Just the words New Orleans East are enough to throw me into a minor depression.
