I thought this should be shared here because it’s going to affect us all.

quote:

As America grapples with unprecedented inflation, soaring grocery bills and a deadly school shooting that targeted Christians, President Joe Biden and his administration have opted to focus on gas-powered vehicles. According to a new report from Reuters, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is preparing to enact “sweeping cuts in vehicle emissions pollution that will push automakers towards a big increase in electric vehicle sales.” That big push for electric vehicle sales, naturally, means a big decrease in gas-powered vehicle sales.

quote:

“Environmental groups and some automakers think the proposal will result in at least 50 percent of the U.S. vehicle fleet by 2030 being electric or plug-in hybrids,” the report notes. Per a separate Bloomberg report, these momentous announcements are expected to be made on Wednesday in Detroit.

The executive branch has way too much power. I’d say about 90% of government agencies and employees should be cut. Most are pretty useless. It’s just a big welfare program for over educated lefty lunatics at this point.

Not a week goes by where Joe does not piss me off about something; usually 2 or 3 times per week. He is wiping out our country

Something something consequences..

This should lose in the courts, with the recent EPA ruling. At least I hope.

They’re gonna try and force us all into EV’s like when they tried to force the jab.

Will never survive muster at the Supreme Court, but Republicans better win this next election so the Supreme Court does not shift. It’s the only thing saving us right now.

I would say last summer’s ruling in West Virginia vs EPA would most definitely tell Biden et al to suck our left nut in regards to this and take it to the legislative branch, but it’s a crazy world.

Not surprising. I've been saying it for awhile. I'm not against EVs, but I am against the government forcing us to own one, which is what's ultimately going to happen.

They already put mileage requirements on manufacturers which is why we have all of this stupid crap like auto start/stop etc.

The children mining rare-earth metals in Africa are shuttering at this. Exploiting countries for your green propaganda is peak arrogance.

That's because the legislative branch is feckless bunch of boot lickers. They are more concerned with getting rich and getting reelected then leading our country.
