I actually like renting. It is a shame that society views me as a failure because I rent.

You don't believe in private ownership of property. You are.

Its ok, I understand you being embarrassed and unfortunately you let it slip once.

Yeah any person who says they don't care if they get free money from the government is a straight up liar.

I'll take the money. It doesn't really matter to me whether I get it or not. Does that make it simple enough for you to understand or do I need to get out the crayons?

If there's anything you actually do understand, it should be embarrassment for sure.

I sure hope I don't get a raise soon.

I'll be sliding in under the threshold like Indiana Jones and grabbing my hat.

In the event it happens, it will most likely be based upon 2021 AGI.

Because I can't afford two mortgages and a cabin.

So the ones that could actually afford housing after college? The current market + inflation makes it impossible to be a homeowner currently.

I bought my first house in November in this "impossible market" in one of the most expensive areas of the country. Wanna know how? I worked hard, developed my skills, and found ways to make extra income on top of my salary. I worked my arse off over the summers in college so I wouldnt have to take out as many loans as others, I put in a lot of OT right after college even working a 2nd job for a time, I took assignments out of town to earn additional pay incentives, and I took risks in the stock market. Never did it cross my mind to ask for a handout. Now I'm on cruise control with no student loan debt, got my first home and my first rental property, I've traveled the entire country, and I'm still in my 20s. People need to fix their attitude and learn that time is their most valuable commodity so quit wasting it
