This isn’t even possible for most production vehicles, much less in the timeframe allotted.

The statement alone represents how foolish this administration is.

Presidential policies don’t change the laws of physics.

How in the flying blue fricking hell they were ever elected in the first place is beyond me.

We didn’t have an election in 2020, that’s how.

At best, we had a fraudulent count of a bunch of fake ballots.

My hybrid toyota minivan can’t even do that. And don’t forget the internal combustion part works hard when it’s working.

Let’s start talking about cheap flying and affordable hovering for toothpaste delivery while we are at it.

Independence and Security Act of 2007, raised the fuel economy standards of America's cars, light trucks, and SUVs to a combined average of at least 35 miles per gallon by 2020—a 10 mpg increase over 2007 levels—and required standards to be met at maximum feasible levels through 2030.

The EPA established global warming pollution standards of 250 grams per mile, on average, for model year (MY) 2016 vehicles. NHTSA set fuel efficiency standards which target a new vehicle average of 34.1 miles per gallon in MY2016.

Building on the success of the first phase of the National Program, the second phase of fuel economy and global warming pollution standards for light duty vehicles covers model years 2017–2025. These standards were finalized by the US Environmental Protection Agency and US Department of Transportation in August 2012. These new standards will reduce average global warming emissions of new passenger cars and light trucks to 163 grams per mile (g/mi) in model year 2025. This is equivalent to 54.5 miles per gallon (mpg), if the standards were met exclusively with fuel efficiency improvements 1.

Umm..appears they never met the bars they set.
