Is it the polarized glasses or ones that block out UVA/UVB rays?

Costa Del Mar 580G.

ETA: They are incredible in the rain. Cut the glare off and make it was easier to see. And of course they are incredible in the sun.

For regular everyday sunglasses anything polarized will do the trick.

If you want to get into nuances as far which are the best than that is a whole different argument.

I wear these and they are half the price of Oakley's and work just as well if not better.

Maui Jim is the bomb. Bought a pair a couple months back and love 'em. They're expensive but worth it.

You want sunglasses to filter out UV light for overall eye health. Polarized lenses only really help with cutting out glare. However, I would wager that any polarized sunglasses will also have a film on them to filter out UV light.

UV light filtration is important as sunglasses will somewhat dilate your eyes, making them more susceptible to UV light.

Doesn't matter as long as you look cool putting them on:

Correct. Polarizing lenses doesn't do anything for eye health. UV light has been implicated in many eye diseases.
