Houston....but probably not this weekend if the hurricane doesn't turn west.

Atlanta is prettier though.

They both have a lot of very nice "big city" amenities, but I think Houston has the edge.

It can't be Atlanta. Those tickets cannot afford to paint lines on their roads.

A city in Texas versus a city that's not in Texas?

Houston and this wasn't close.

When choosing between a Texas city and a non-Texas city, wise individuals opt for the Texas city.

I'm not familiar with any of these stores. Do they have nice PFG?

Indoor Andretti go-cart facility with full-service bar coming to San Antonio
quote:

Andretti Indoor Karting and Games is building a 100,000-square-foot indoor entertainment complex near the booming intersection of Interstate 10 and Loop 1604 — complete with high-speed go-carts, laser tag, arcade games, virtual reality attractions and a full-service bar.

The Georgia-based entertainment company hopes to open next summer near The Rim, managing partner Eddie Hamann said in a phone interview.

“When they walk in, there’s something for everyone of all ages to do and everyone of all ages to eat,” Hamann said.

The complex at 5527 N. Loop 1604 will sit just south of Topgolf USA San Antonio and across the street from iFly San Antonio, an indoor skydiving facility that opened in 2016, on the northeast corner of the Interstate 10-Loop 1604 intersection.

There's honestly not much difference between ATL & HOU to me as I'm not from there so I don't have historical and familial ties to either place.

As much as I hate to say it, I'd probably pick Atlanta because the difference in topography and more real variety in seasons.

I have friends who live in Buckhead. Their property adjoins Arthur Blank's crack shack. (Subtle brag not subtle) I've stayed there and Buckhead living ain't bad.

tl/dr: I could live in either place.

I respectfully disagree, Atlanta has Downtown with a lot to do and (reviving even more). Midtown has many nice restuarants shopping Atlantic Station, bars, lounges, clubs. Buckhead has world class shopping, living, restaurants. Sandy Springs, Perimeter very nice areas all within the city. Suburbs left off list they're VERY nice!(over that crap though). Most major entertainment acts and artist of all genres perform here constantly. Kennesaw Mountains, Stone Mountain 20 min drive from city for just enjoying outdoors. The landscape of the city is awesome hills, mountains very good engineers the way this place is built with all these changes in geography within a concentrated area. Gatlinburg, Myrtle Beach, Nashville all quick trip away even Destin about 4-5 hrs. Much more but I'm done for now. MLB, NFL,NBA, WNBA, MLS. IFly Indoor Skydiving, 2 Top Golf locations, several Dave and Busters, Main Event Entertainment Complexes, 11 shopping malls, endless movie theaters

*Houston= super hot, flat land, bland downtown, suburban sprawl,Galveston for a beach. Hurricanes and endless flooding. NOT!

Houston is currently building two massive lagoons with white sand beaches to bring beach life right to the big city, just like Steve Wynn is bringing to Las Vegas.

Your move, Atlanta.

Give the nod to Atlanta. Because of the SEC championship game and you actually get a small taste of the different seasons.

Know the problem with cities in Texas? There are too many Texans. Texans are the most obnoxious and unbearable people in the country as far as states go.

You. Just. Made. My. NIGHT! I fricking LOVE go-karts--been to K1 Speed off Loop 410 more times than I can count already.

But I live on Loop 1604 near the Rim (actually pass that Top Golf/iFly every day on my work commute). Was wondering what they'd cleared out that lot of land for across the street.

Thanks for the info, Kafka!

Nod to ATLANTA cause they have four actual seasons. I lived in ATL in the late 90s. Wonderful experience. Not sure about now. If you're in O&G Houston is the obvious choice.

One day, when my sentence is up, I can leave this wretched state and move to a real city or town.
