I know Newman and Country day take a lot off of tuition and both are close to top in the state.

Yea I never even thought about it as an option. I was building decks this past summer helping a buddy get his contracting company going. Started talking to him about it one day. I'm just starting to really look into what skills and certifications I need to do right. Not trying to rush into it.

The prices are artificially low. OPEC is dumping crude to drive US producers out of business so they can have a monopoly on the market again. I am a huge libertarian and free market guy but this is an attack on our national security and our economy. This is the only time I would recommend import tariffs on a barrel of oil to make it a market price of $60.00. That would help our domestic producers stay in business. We would have to pay $2.75 a gallon for gasoline though. I could live with that.

im actually typing this from offshore. Just put another 25k in my pocket lol
so dont feel too bad for all of us. bc some of us are true ballers. the cream always rises to the top. when oil is 100$ any slapdick can go get a 6figure job and theyre the ones that give us the bad name

I guess yall have never worked in the Bakken...I made the move to Midland about 2 years ago. Yes, while it sucks big time...It is 1000x better than working in ND.

I don't even mean it from the tax point of view.
OPEC isn't "dumping". They simply didn't cut production. It is their choice to produce at whatever level they choose. Lots of industries have parties producing at a loss in order to capture market.
Setting a price floor may not be a "tax", but it sure as hell isn't in line with liberalized markets.

He can go piss up a flag poll I have worked in a industry that would normaly dump 10/30% of its employees annually but I didn't piss & moan about it I went out did what I needed to do get another job! I love cheep gas, & don't give a damn. where is the best place to shop for all their shite they are selling? I need a new f250 oh wait all that cash they made they still financed all their shite. Maybe they should learn a trade like an electrician

Maybe they should have bought an economics book and read the part that says what goes up must come down at an equal and opposite reaction.
Simple they haven't figured it out. When market changes you adjust and find a way to make a living doing something else.
It is not my fault with all the cash they made they didn't figure out a backup plan.
