I have a firm, temperature cooled tempurpedic and it’s incredible.

Casper

Wamsutta dreamzone sheets 750+ thread count

Could buy two sets of these for the price of one tempurpedic.

We have a standard king Serta with, from top to bottom, a memory foam pad, an egg crate pad, and a standard cotton mattress pad.

It’s a cloud and it’s heavenly. Have to get super deep sheets though.

Anyone have a Leesa?

I've heard that the best online brand to compete with Tempurpedic is Loom and Leaf, but they are a little more expensive than the others (Casper, Leesa, Tuft and Needle). Still a lot less than tempur though.

I didn't name the product. Just saying what it is called. I've never slept on the five thousand dollar sleep number or tempurpedics. The cheaper ones I did sleep on weren't all that comfortable. I just suggested this mattress because I like it.

If you have a guest room put it in there to try out before making it your own bed. But in my experience it has been better than other memory foams I've been on. Laugh all you want dick heads. You're not the one shopping for a mattress so what the frick does it matter to you?

We bought a tempurpedic a few years ago and my back problems disappeared.

It is expensive, but you get what you pay for

My tempurpedic was around $4500. It's one of the breeze my models so it has a cooling layer on it. It's ridiculously comfortable and worth every penny we spent.

I am curious about these mattress in a box things so I might try one when we get a bigger place and need a 3rd bed.

I don't know that it will hold up for years and years but it's almost disposable at about three or four years with the price point if you have to get a new one. Mattresses are getting out of hand. It doesn't cost that much for them to make a quality mattress and I sleep on that evidence every night.

My FIL has a Tempurpedic and he despises it.
He can’t bring himself to trash it because he paid $6k for it.
I have a feeling he’ll end up trashing it anyway.

Pretty much.

Most high density foam will hold up for 8-10 years. That's why we were deciding between tempurpedic and iComfort. They have 10 and 15 year full coverage warranties respectively.

I have a Leesa and I love it. Best mattress I've ever owned.

I got the queen green tea 14” delivered in a box on my front porch from amazon. I love crawling in that thing every night.

Had friends crash in it one night. They went home and bought two for their house.

We have the firmest Tempurpedic that they make and it is incredibly comfortable but I will say that I runs a little hot. The firmest option for the cooling version was still too soft for my bad back. I've never slept on a Sleep Number but I do like the thought of it being adjustable.

Best mattress I've ever had. I really like these "Hybrid" mattresses. I really wanted to like Tempurpedic and Sleep Number since so many swear by them but I really didn't care for either one...

Took me a year or so to get used to how hot the tempurpedic is. I love it now and have owned it for 6 years. It does sag a little, though.

Bought my son a $200 knockoff tempurpedic (on Amazon) and it's just as comfortable as my Tempurpedic at a fraction of the cost.
