I played Uclub last weekend

Those greens just stay unfair

I hit the ball really well and shot 86

I must have had 38 putts

I'm supposed to play UC soon...one of the guys on my bball team lives there/is a member.

Putting is what killed me at The Island. I missed at least 5-6 par putts from about 3-4 feet. Most were inside my putter but not inside the leather (which is how my league plays). And on at least half of THOSE, I missed the putt coming back as well because I was farther away than I originally was. Missing 3-4 foot putts cost me at least 8-10 strokes that day. I was furious.

You will certainly enjoy your round at Uclub

6 footers running past and turning into 10 footers is regular.

I'm voting The Island. Holes 1,2,6,9,10,11,12,15 & 18 are all phenomenal.

The greens are insane when they get them rolling.

Carter is prettier and on a better piece of land, but the design isn't near as good as the Island. There are fewer memorable holes and there are a few that are downright bad at Carter.

Carter layout/golf course design wise, but the Island has better greens, Carter plays 1-3 strokes harder on average IMO

Maybe I've just played better at Carter, but I think the Island is more difficult.

Only played Carter twice, not really jumping out of the recliner to go play either track, a lot better options out there.

Can I vote for bayou bend

Nah that place is a ranch. I played carter and the island each one time and both about 5 years ago. I guess I'm just trying to pad my post count by posting this because I have nothing of value to add

The tee shot on number 9 at Carter goes from one of the easiest ever from the blue tees to damn near impossible from the tips!
