Not quite. Matter of fact, in my experience, the male nurse would be alpha having to put up with all the crap outta beta males and covens of female nurses as well as whiney patients. Never met a male ER nurse that was beta.

Probably same thing with the male pastry chef. Dealing with stereotypes outta the ignorant public, and whiney bitchey female servers, nit picky female kitchen supervisors, and beta male customers too timid and weak to keep their wives in hand. Enough to drive a beta towards alpha moments at the least.
