GFS takes it there in 5 days. It’s going to be a while for this thing to get to LA, if it ever does.

Still without power in Loxley, Daphne area. Just ate conecuh and hot dogs sitting in my truck totaled truck, charging my phone, watching bball. Yard is still so far from finished. Trees everywhere. Millions in baldwin county. I have driven all through Daphne and fairhope and it’s so bad. Looks like tons of heavy tornadic activity, but I assume some (if not most) of that is from really strong gusts from the eyewall. It’s still surreal.

Does anyone have updates figures on Sally? I just saw someone post they saw 121mph in Fort Morgan. My in laws in south fhope were in one of the worst zones. Wood line behind his house is gone, had to be tornado

Sorry is this the thread for this? Lol we’re still hurting and my mind is still spinning

This system could be another serious rainfall threat. Most recent GFS stalls it around the Corpus Christi area for nearly 4 days.

2020 got Louisiana, Alabama and Florida already. Now it’s Texas turn.

Ms gulf coast on deck after with the Carolinas in the hole.

Oh I should have also said. Everywhere in the county that held water, lost every tree. I’m not sure the ground has ever been so saturated while also having such intense winds at the same time. I’ve never seen anything like it.

The bottoms where creeks and rivers run through are fricking tree graveyards

Yeah I’m sure they are. Many areas got 10”+ before the winds even arrived.

Eff me.

I just read about miniswirls and small vortices in the eyewall where winds can be much greater than the air around it. Unreal.
