Best Wilderness Areas to go contemplate my life?

I'm looking to go into the wilderness for up to two weeks. Preferably within a 2 to 3 hours drive of Baton Rouge. I will probably fast for most days. I have camping/backpacking gear. Other than limited walking/hiking and sitting by the campfire, I'm not planning on doing to much physical activity. I would like to avoid areas where I might get shot by hunters. No swamps. State parks are a possibility.
I might post daily updates to the OT if there's a phone signal.

I’d prefer to be close to water if I were contemplating my life. Water watching is peaceful and brings serenity to the soul.

Either go now and freeze your gonads off, or wait a few weeks and get eaten alive by mosquitos.

Nah the freeze will take of the mosquitos for a while.

I got some acreage. We can blindfold you and just drop you off in the back of the property

That was my first thought. Would be cool to be up in the hills. Like you said, maybe a little too far. I'm planning to have someone to drive me and drop me off so I can't leave even if I wanted to. I would just tell them to pick me up in a couple of weeks.

Float the Bogue Chitto. Camp out on sand bars. Start just out of McComb MS and finish around Isabel, LA.

That's a pretty good idea. But I wouldn't feel too safe doing that alone.

Why are you going into the woods to contemplate your life?

Please don't kill yourself, because this reads like you're going to go kill yourself

Kisatchie National Forest. Specifically, the trails off US 117 between Leesville and Alexandria. About a 3 hour drive from Baton Rouge. I would recommend just drive yourself. Why bother somebody with having to drop you off and pick you up?
