Any suggestions on what I should use? I need to send faxes but don't feel like paying $30 a month for a phone line

Do you have a thing called the internet?

I'm not sure, but a 3 second google revealed a list of services.

Send it as Electronic Mail.

One of the many email to fax programs for laptop/tablet/PC

For those Luddites still requiring faxes, I use Faxaway. It's an old school platform but works and is close to free. You get a dedicated fax number too.

Choose a fax app on your phone

TurboScan is a great iPhone app. U can take a pic of a document and send it with your cell. Better than fax machine quality.

If you have an iPhone, the pre-installed Notes app has a document scan feature. You can then email or text the document

Exactly “Cam Scanner” app
Take a picture and send directly to an email or your email and send it to whomever you want.
This is helpful and easy if only a page or 2 that you need to send but multiple pages can be a pain in the arse.

There are some internet fax solutions that will send them for you. Faxing should have died 20 years ago. I hate still having to deal with that shite at work sometimes.

FedEx Office, Office Depot are options if you’re sending something sensitive like wiring instructions. Email to fax services otherwise.
Sometimes an actual hard line has its uses when dealing with banks.

I completely agree...I’ve got to maintain that junky bullshite for one or two faxes per month.

You'll be better off using an online service like eFax.com. We still send 7-10k per month at my office.

You could just port your fax number to an online service
And then you dont need to pay for that dedicated line
Seems way easier to me
