Dang I hope the holes from the mount don't come out of your deposit.

Well then. I guess I'm lucky this is just an apartment that I can't see myself being in longer than 2-3 years before buying a house. So I guess I should just learn to deal with it?

that...

or, jack up the wall and lose your downpayment

Yea i would advise against cutting into the wall to hide the wires if he doesn't own the place.

OP, look for a decorative wire cover.

Something like this that'll keep them together, and keep you from having to mount anything else to the wall. That's about all you can do.

Should have planned this out before you threw the TV on a wall. Best bet now is to go with the wiremolds.

Next time use some plates like these to run your media cables and power.

My man Vu handled my install.

I'm kind of a neat freak.

If you want his number, pm me.

Bro there are a lot of good suggestions in this thread. At least pick one because what you've got going on in that pic looks like a total monkey shite. I'd have a hard time sleeping at night with that clusterfrick going on in my living room.

Considering the fact that it's an apartment is lean toward the wire channel idea. Anything to clean that up a bit.

No amount of "camouflage" is going fix this. TV above the fireplace is not good. TV with wires showing above the fireplace is worse, and it's an apartment so I wouldn't spend the money to do it right.
Unless you are trying to be funny about it. In that case, great job.

Nope, that was not my goal at all. I know it looks silly as hell right now and I sincerely appreciate all of the true advice in this thread. Some good people here
