I wash them. Spray with shout and scrub stains with a toothbrush.
Throw in washer with some towels on hot. either take the laces out and put them in a tied sock or tie the shoe laces so they don't get wrapped around the agitator doodlebop.

then Dry them in front of a box fan.

If you can explain to me how to polish tennis shoes, I will do it

anyway, put shoes in an old pillow case and tie the end off on the pillow case. take the insole out. let them air dry.

Can the fan be a round one?

Wash them in washing machine with bleach. After about 4 washes they'll start to squeak like clown shoes.
This of it as an added bonus.
