Anyone found a product that works for getting rid of rash and itch? This calamine lotion just aint cutting it

ETA: Used Zanfel. It cut the itching instantly and dried it up too. My skin is raw now because its so abrasive. But im in way better shape than before

the correct answer. poison ivy is at its worst when its oozing and you smear it into other places.

calamine dries it up so you can avoid making matters worse.

First make sure you have all the oil washed off your skin. The clear lotion with Benadryl in it works well but be aware that if you also take oral Benadryl you'll get a double dose because the lotion can get absorbed into your blood stream. If the itch gets to be too much take a shower, as hot as you can stand it on the rash. If all else fails see the doctor for a steroid shot.

I'm really allergic and this is the only OTC stuff I've ever found that actually works to stop the itch.

Zanfel did the trick for me as well. It's not cheap, but it works.
