1965 Lionel train set..

It is too bad the 1965 Lionel sets weren't up to the quality standards of the 50's sets. But, I like the last year 1969 sets. When I was a kid, I would mow lawns to buy trains from the 1969 catalog. The rodeo and giraffe cars were favorites, but I also was able to acquire some of the nice 6464 boxcar releases that were built just like the 50's boxes.

Yep...
If they’re like the new ones, you just drop in a piece of hard candy.

79- we rode bicycles and played basketball a lot. Had TMNT and transformers we loved. Got a Nintendo the year after they first came out. Did anyone collect baseball cards? I don't think anyone really does this any more. We also had a hot wheels race track but my mom beat our butts with the track sections more that we used them.

The guy who went around in circles made a great pulling guard if you pointed him in the right direction!

about 45 degrees backward from the line of scrimmage

and there was a fun hockey game where the guys had slots they went back and forth in and you could spin them to shoot, came along when I was about 14 in mid 70's

On the evil knievel power source, there were two kinds. One with the pull strip, and one with a wheel crank.

To whoever said vertibird - winner. Almost disnt get to play with mine on Christmas morning because my dad and uncle were hogging the thing.
