Will be in Natchitoches for a couple of days. Would like something a better than the cookie cutter hotels. Thanks

They have the usual chain establishments by the interstate. AFAIK there's not a luxury type hotel in town, but they do have several B&B's in historic old homes.

Forgot what B&B we stayed at. Nat town always a good time though.

Any of the B&B's are good. They usually have a Friday & Saturday minimum on weekends.

Along those lines, the Kappa Sig house as well. They were about the only chapter in LA that we didn't ever scrap with.

Have stayed at Violet Hill and Judge Porter House B&B. Both were excellent.

Can't beat the Church Street Inn. Just a few steps from Mama's and Papa's. Got to try Lasyone's for breakfast (it's 1/2 block away)

Church Street Inn is downtown. There are also a ton of B&B options - Judge Porter House is nice (and right across from the KA house - LOL). The Cabin on the Cane is on the river and across the bridge from downtown. If you want something out of town, the Cane River Cottage and Guesthouse would be nice and only a short drive back in to town.

Hope this helps.

Church Street Inn but you have to appreciate the age and therefore, lack of modern day amenities (i.e. no pay per view).

agree with the others...I have been away for several years, but the church street inn was my favorite place to stay when in town on business....

there are some beautiful Bed and Breakfasts, but that is not really my thing...

I like to stay at the church street inn, where you can get a damn fine steak at Momma's or Poppa's and be within a block of your hotel...
