Looking for caiman or something exotic. Other than Cavender’s anything in the metro area. Wouldn’t be opposed to go to BR

Tecovas is a good bet.

Tecovas

Also they're several old topics on the outdoor board I think.

Online with Tecovas. You can try them on and send them back if they don't fit. Very comfortable

Tecovas. I will not own another boot for the rest of my life. They are supposedly opening up a retail shop in Perkins Rowe soon.

Known the Cavendars since I was a kid. Never have had a bad experience there albeit I'm not a shite kicker. Huge boot variety

Boot Barn in Slidell had a decent selection if you are near the north shore (haven't been up there in a couple years)

Sylvester's Western Wear on Williams Boulevard in Kenner. I'm not a particularly western sort, but that place is just cool. Could sit in there all morning, and take it all in.

Sure, if you’re willing to drop $5k on average for a pair of boots.

More honestly, I got my boots at a Western store called La Morena in McKinney and love them.
