I can't believe that people even acknowledge that bullshite as music. No musical instroments on stage, no music, an no care.

These rural retards are upset Toby Keith wasn’t out there in an American flag shirt.

Makes you really appreciate 90's rap.

She said the sounds from the TV raping her ears was worse than you raping her.

You do realize that rap and hiphop is now the most popular form of music in the US? Around 25% of "consumed music" last year was rap/R&B/Hip Hop; as was 8 of the top 10 songs last year. I hope you don't have kids under the age of 30, because they're probably getting deported.

Last night's performance was not an exemplary display of that form of "music". It was one guy standing fairly stationary while lip-synching poorly. Any movements he did were cliched movements of every rapper that's ever rapped. At least have some backup dancers or something.
It would have been more entertaining watching the bands march.

You have to realize that they control what you consume. I have to go to satellite radio to find new rock.

how was it lipsynched. it didn't sound like the original? they always have a backup track in rap typically. look at eminem. he has a guy who helps him finish the lines live.

Sanitized by Pop themes and marketed by every Top 40 station in the country. Great marketing. Not really great music. IMHO

It sounded like they never did a mic check. It was terrible sounding. Couldn’t understand a thing.

Best part was there were so many delicate little snowflakes it was like a blizzard! Bunch of butt hurt, cry baby, sensitive little racists crying about that show when everybody knew beforehand what was happening.

"this isn't my genre of music so it has to suck"

At this point, you're just baiting the rape jokes.

Because the sound and his lip movements often didn't match up. This wasn't during some chorus or "Yeah!" crap, it was during the actual lyrics.

Not sure what that guy was doing last night.

Not saying it's the best or that most of it is good. Like all genres there's a range from incredible to crap. I just think it's ridiculous for someone to say we should deport everyone who listens to a particular style of music...unless we're talking about dubstep: kick those frickers out.

so an entire genre should be judged based on one crappy live performance? I didn't watch it, but I'm sure it was bad. There are very few hip hop artists who are good live, most of them rap over their own cds. Add in a venue that size with a massive time restriction and it's a recipe for a crap performance. Just like how most Super Bowl halftime shows are crap regardless how good the person/group is normally. Except Prince, he fricking killed it.

Oh I realize it. I worked for Interscope records for several years. But the labels/stations are only creating the demand, they are also supplying to an existing demand. I don't listen to music on the radio much at all, I find it from other sources personally.
