I see another one a lot:

“Call if questions”

It’s ridiculous how irrationally mad this makes me.

"I Remain, "

I was using "GFY", for awhile, but only on replies.
Don't like to be presumptuous.

This is what we did in the UK for years. Sometimes shortened to best.

I think “sincerely” is dumb to say. Do you need to assure me that what you wrote wasn’t just bull crap? Do I need to have an issue of trust with you in future discussions?

I rarely use it, but when I do I've expressed some sentiment whether it is congratulating or consoling et cetera.

Hope this helps.

I actually like ‘Best ‘ better than ‘Sincerely’ or some other stupid meaningless word.. at least if youre gonna say nothing that means anything, then make it short and sweet and different than what every other swinging dick out there puts in their pointless emails-

I have a personal hierarchy

“Thanks!”: You’re my buddy and Im not pissed to hear from you.

“Best”: We are probably on the same side but at arms length. I dont need to hear from you much.

“Sincerely”: I dislike you. Leave me alone.

If someone did something for me = Thanks,
If I ask someone to do something = Thanks in advance,
If I'm going to meet someone = See you soon,
Everything else = just my name

And there's no way in hell I put my preferred pronouns in there.

I am extremely petty to the point that I have two issues with this.

1.) Using exclamation points makes you seem overzealous.

2.) I prefer using the entire phrase "Thank You" and usually only when I'm asking for something to be done because it is less casual and sounds more sincere.

I find any sort of valediction in an email dumb. Just finish what you’re saying and then put your name.
